About the role

Career Opportunity – Navigator with Found Village in Cincinnati, OH Do you believe young adults ages 19-25 can build lives of stability and purpose with the right people beside them? Are you a steady, resourceful professional who can help someone navigate complex systems, recover from setbacks, and take ownership of their future? If so, we would like to talk with you. Found Village is seeking a Navigator to walk alongside young adults ages 19-25 as they take on the responsibilities of adulthood. You will build trusted relationships while helping each young adult increase agency, sustain stability, and pursue new opportunities. You will not manage their lives for them; you will coach, equip, and encourage them to build the skills and dependable support network they need to move forward. Salary range: $58k - $73k; depending on knowledge and experience. Benefits: Competitive pay and 401(k) match. Medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and other health-related benefit options. Generous PTO, sick leave, holidays, and built-in self-care days. Professional development funds and discounted YMCA membership. Responsibilities: Help young adults ages 19-25 navigate housing, finances, healthcare, benefits, transportation, and daily responsibilities. Support employment, career, education, and training goals; build partnerships with employers, landlords, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to connect young adults with opportunities. Coach rather than direct: help young adults own their goals, plan, track commitments, reflect, and adjust while strengthening agency, self-advocacy, decision-making, problem-solving, and sustained stability. Identify barriers early, coordinate people and resources before concerns escalate, and offer encouragement and accountability through setbacks. Foster healthy relationships and dependable support networks with family, peers, mentors, and community members. Coordinate resource navigation, services, and next steps with Care Management through clear handoffs that avoid duplication. Keep commitments, communicate proactively, document accurately, protect confidentiality, and maintain professional boundaries. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred; capabilities and approach matter more than discipline. Relevant experience in coaching, case management, workforce development, community health, human services, or young adult support, with familiarity navigating employment, education, housing, benefits, healthcare, and financial systems; required. CHW certification preferred; equivalent experience considered. Candidates with neither must be willing to obtain certification within one year. Strong organization, communication, documentation, and relationship-building with community partners; ability to work independently and collaborate with Care Management and the team. Resourcefulness, persistence, initiative, self-awareness, adaptability, and openness to feedback, with calm problem-solving amid change. Who thrives in this role: You bring genuine love for people and understand the value of counseling, coaching, and approaches that foster insight, agency, and growth. You bring a coaching mindset and help young people develop their own solutions. You are patient and resilient when progress is gradual, combine compassion with accountability, and are comfortable having direct and respectful conversations. You approach behavior with curiosity rather than judgment and bring emotional maturity, humility, adaptability, self-awareness, initiative, and a willingness to seek feedback and adapt your approach. Most importantly, you are committed to empowering young people rather than creating dependence. Why Found Village? Found Village believes every young person has strengths, potential, and a future worth investing in. The organization partners with families, schools, and community systems to surround teens with trusted, lasting relationships. The goal is not for young people to depend on Found Village forever. It is for them to leave Found Village with greater confidence, stronger connections, and deeper belonging within a caring community that continues to walk alongside them. Our values: Boundless Hope: Every young person has strengths, potential, and a future worth investing in. Courageous Love: We build strong relationships to encourage, challenge, confront, and remain present through difficult moments. Safe Place, Safe People: We create emotionally and physically safe relationships built on trust, dignity, and belonging. Collaborative Community: Young people are supported by an entire community, not just Found Village. Spend It Well: We invest time where it creates lasting developmental impact and strengthens relationships that endure. Apply online today! #ZR
