Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

JobForge is operated by Dependify LLC, Coral Gardens, Lugbe, FCT, Nigeria.

2. What the service does

JobForge indexes publicly available job listings, scores them against your CV, and uses a large language model to draft tailored CVs, cover letters, and interview preparation. You must be at least 16 years old to use it.

3. AI output is a draft, not advice

Everything the model produces — match scores, tailored CVs, cover letters, salary figures, interview answers — is generated text. It can be wrong, out of date, or unsuitable for the role. Read it before you send it. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to an employer, and we make no promise that using JobForge will get you an interview or a job.

4. Job listings

Listings are collected from employers' career pages and public job boards. We do not control them, do not verify them, and are not party to your application. A listing may be filled or withdrawn before we notice. Apply through the employer's own process.

5. Your account

• Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Upload only a CV you are entitled to upload.
• Do not scrape the service, resell access, attempt to bypass plan limits, or use it to send bulk or deceptive applications.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or that puts the service at risk, and will say why where we can.

6. Trials, plans, and payment

• The trial runs for 7 days with the limits shown on the pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Paystack. Prices are shown on the pricing page and include any tax stated there.
• A subscription renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We do not give partial refunds for an unused part of a month. If the service is materially broken for an extended period, write to us and we will make it right.
• If a price changes we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your renewal.

7. Your content

Your CV and everything you write stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you: to store it, process it, and pass the relevant parts to the AI provider when you ask for a generation. We do not publish it, and we do not sell it.

8. Availability

We aim to keep JobForge running but do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages, and crawls of thousands of job boards all mean occasional downtime or stale data.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings, or indirect losses arising from your use of the service, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We can end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously break these terms. On closure you can export your CVs and application history first; after that the data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We will post any change here and, when it matters to you, email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use JobForge after that means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
