About the role

Every team has AI. Few have mastered it. Humans were built to adapt, but AI is now moving faster than most workforces can. Multiverse is the AI adoption layer: the missing link between the AI tools that companies have invested in and the people expected to use them. Our ambition is to put AI capability in every worker’s hands. Apprenticeships got us started: we’ve trained over a third of the UK’s data and AI apprentices, worked with a third of the FTSE 100, and generated £2bn+ in verified ROI. Now Mastry, our new adaptive learning platform, takes that further, guiding a company’s AI workforce transformation from start to finish. Mae, our AI guide inside Mastry, is a real-time AI agent that thinks, speaks, listens and sees, working alongside the tools you already use, like Claude and Copilot. We closed our latest fundraising round in April 2026, with $500m+ raised in total from VC partners including Index Ventures, General Catalyst, Schroders Capital and Lightspeed. With a $2.1bn valuation, we are Europe’s first EdTech double unicorn, and we are just getting started. If you want to shape how the workforce wins in the AI era, come and join us. The opportunity This is an exceptional opportunity for a standout candidate to join the CEO Office of one of the fastest-growing, most successful startups in the UK. We are a small team with an outsized remit: defining and driving the company strategy, diversifying our revenue through international expansion and taking bets on new routes to market. You will partner with the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff across all of these workstreams. You will also project manage critical cross-functional work, giving you exposure to every part of the business and a hands-on role in our continued transformation as we scale at pace. This is a chance to be at the forefront of workforce transformation, working inside a company that sits at the centre of how organisations adapt to AI. The analysis you produce will be used to shape the future strategy of the business, and you will work closely with the CEO and the leadership team from day one. It is an unusually fast way to learn what it takes to run and scale a business, and a strong launchpad into corporate development, international growth or an operational role. What you will do Corporate development: International expansion and strategic bets Assess markets we might enter: sizing, competitor and regulatory landscape, entry model options, recommendations Assess companies we might invest in, partner with or acquire: meet with them, undertake desk research, build the commercial case, evaluate fit and risks Coordinate and input to deal execution, including due diligence work streams across finance, legal, product and operations Support post-acquisition integration, tracking milestones and keeping the work moving across teams Help define the new strategic bets we take, from new routes to market to the rollout of our new platform Build business cases and track progress against OKRs Cross-functional project management Project manage critical strategic work streams across the business, working with leaders in product, GTM, delivery, finance and beyond Set clear owners, milestones and timelines, and keep work moving without waiting to be chased Surface blockers early and bring the CEO Office in only where it adds value Support the changes needed as we scale, from new ways of working to the launch of new products and markets About you 3 to 5 years at a leading strategy consultancy, ideally with exposure to growth, market entry or corporate development. Backgrounds in venture capital, private equity, investment banking or high-growth operating roles will also be considered Very AI literate. You use AI tools across all of your work, not just a chatbot. A scrappy, entrepreneurial approach – you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats and solving problems creatively. You are not a consultant in a startup, you get things done Highly commercial, strategic and a rigorous analyst. Your work informs decisions that shape the future strategy of the business, so it needs to be accurate, clear, and able to stand up to challenge from the CEO, board and investors Exceptionally organised. You never drop a ball, and people trust you to track everything Genuine interest in our space. You are drawn to workforce transformation, startups, and being at the forefront of organisational change Benefits Time off: 27 days holiday (including 3 winter shutdown days) and bank holidays, plus 5 extra days off (1 life event, 2 volunteer days and 2 summer shutdown days).
