Staff Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer based remotely in Brazil. We are looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to drive technical strategy and execution across high-impact engineering initiatives. In this role, you will design and build highly scalable, resilient distributed systems that support complex, high-volume product experiences. You will play a key part in advancing AI-powered capabilities, including low-latency conversational journeys, microservices orchestration, and real-time machine learning processing. Beyond delivering technical solutions, you will influence architectural decisions, strengthen engineering practices, and help teams navigate complex trade-offs. Working across multiple engineering teams, you will use your technical judgment and leadership to solve challenging problems and shape long-term technology direction. This is a remote-first opportunity open to professionals anywhere in Brazil, with the flexibility to work from other countries for up to 90 days per year.
