About the role
About Us Marketech International Corp. USA provides comprehensive engineering, construction, and technical services for the semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing industries. Our services include cleanroom and MEP turnkey projects, DI water, chemical and gas supply systems, water treatment systems, facility monitoring and control systems, and related infrastructure solutions. Job Overview Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mechanical Engineer to support the execution of semiconductor and high-tech facility construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating mechanical installation activities, supporting subcontractor management, tracking project progress, resolving field issues, and helping ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with Superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, QA/QC personnel, engineers, and field teams to support successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has experience supporting mechanical construction, MEP systems, industrial facility projects, or field engineering activities. This position requires strong technical-document review skills, constructability awareness, field-coordination ability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced semiconductor or high-tech construction environment. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Construction Coordination & Field Execution Support planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction activities across active project work areas. Coordinate with Superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to support safe and efficient mechanical installation activities. Monitor mechanical installation progress and help ensure work remains aligned with approved drawings, specifications, construction schedules, and project requirements. Support coordination of mechanical systems including process piping, utility piping, HVAC, ventilation, exhaust, water systems, DI water systems, wastewater systems, and related facility infrastructure. Assist with construction sequencing, work-area readiness, access requirements, material availability, installation constraints, and trade coordination. Participate in field walks, project meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and progress-review discussions. Identify field conflicts, constructability issues, access limitations, installation concerns, and schedule risks; coordinate practical solutions with the appropriate teams. Support mechanical installation activities from early construction through testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout. Drawing Review, Constructability & Technical Support Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, P&IDs, equipment layouts, mechanical plans, and technical documents for constructability, compliance, and field-execution readiness. Review mechanical scope packages to identify missing information, potential conflicts, interface concerns, or requirements requiring clarification before installation. Assist with drawing markups, RFIs, field clarifications, submittal reviews, design changes, and mechanical coordination items. Coordinate with electrical, process, structural, civil, plumbing, controls, fire protection, and other disciplines regarding system interfaces, routing, installation sequencing, and work-area requirements. Support verification that mechanical work is installed in accordance with approved plans, project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements. Assist with reviewing field modifications, design revisions, redlines, and as-built updates to maintain accurate project documentation. Support the use of AutoCAD, BIM, Navisworks, or related coordination tools when required for design review, clash resolution, or field planning. Schedule, Procurement & Project Controls Support Assist with project scheduling, look-ahead planning, progress tracking, and milestone coordination for mechanical construction activities. Track mechanical work progress against project schedules, subcontractor commitments, field conditions, and project deliverables. Support procurement coordination by monitoring material needs, equipment status, submittal requirements, long-lead items, and delivery timelines. Identify material shortages, delivery risks, procurement concerns, incomplete work, or other issues that could affect mechanical installation schedules. Support budget tracking, progress reporting, quantity verification, and project-control activities as assigned. Assist with change-order documentation, field change tracking, and evaluation of schedule or cost impacts related to mechanical scope changes. Prepare project status reports, field updates, action-item logs, progress summaries, and other documentation for project leadership and client review. QA/QC, Testing & Commissioning Support Conduct field walks and inspections to verify installation quality, completeness, workmanship, and compliance with approved mechanical drawings and specifications. Coordinate with QA/QC personnel, Superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams regarding inspections, quality findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions. Track punch-list items, inspection results, nonconforming work, field modifications, and required follow-up through completion. Support system testing, commissioning, startup, functional verification, turnover, and closeout activities for mechanical systems. Assist with coordinating inspections, testing requirements, documentation, and readiness reviews with project teams and applicable stakeholders. Help ensure mechanical systems are ready for testing, startup, commissioning, and client turnover. Support preparation and organization of commissioning records, test reports, inspection documentation, as-built drawings, and closeout packages. Safety, Documentation & Stakeholder Communication Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, client-site procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable construction safety standards. Support safe mechanical work practices by identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, and coordinating with EHS personnel when necessary. Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, punch-list items, field reports, inspection records, progress updates, and as-built information. Communicate clearly and professionally with Superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, QA/QC personnel, engineers, and client representatives. <li data-section-id="1w5ci75" data-start="6
