About the Internship As a Civil Engineering Intern in our 2027 Summer Internship Program, you will support engineering project teams while gaining hands on experience with civil design, plan production, reports, calculations, modeling, and field activities. This seasonal position is designed for a college student pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and runs full time, 40 hours per week, from mid May through mid August 2027. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal communication with team members and colleagues. Ability to learn technical knowledge and new software quickly. Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a project team. Areas of Experience & Exposure Support drafting and plan production using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Assist with site analysis, civil design, utility computations, engineer’s opinions of probable costs, and supporting calculations. Assist with project planning and analysis using ArcGIS Pro and related engineering tools. Contribute to water, wastewater, and stormwater modeling tasks. Assist with the preparation of reports, calculations, estimates, and other design support documents. </s
