SafeHands Schools (SHS) is a private Christian, faith-based school founded in October 2006. It is the educational arm of House on the Rock, The Refuge in Abuja. The school started with an international Christian curriculum known as “Accelerated Christian Curriculum” (ACE) from North America. However, the school found a need to keep abreast with the changes in education and as such, has adopted an integrated curriculum that captures the best practices in the British and Nigerian school systems wrapped around the Christ-centred curriculum of the Christian Schools Trust, UK.
