About the Team The European Order Operations team owns the end-to-end quote-to-cash process and serves as the main operational partner for Retail and Corporate Sales on order-related matters. The team connects Sales, Delivery, Logistics, Service, Production Control, IT, Finance, Tax, and Accounting to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries. The team combines daily operational execution with performance management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement, supporting orderbook accuracy, delivery readiness, and revenue recognition. About the Role The Supervisor, Order Operations is a hands-on people leader responsible for the daily performance of the European Order Operations team in Amsterdam. Working alongside Order Operations Specialists, the role ensures consistent execution of the end-to-end order-to-cash process, accurate orderbook management, timely resolution of escalations, and coordinated delivery readiness. The role is structured around an approximately equal balance between hands-on operational execution and people leadership, with the Supervisor working directly on operational priorities while also managing, coaching, and developing the team. The Supervisor establishes clear performance visibility through KPIs and reporting, strengthens team accountability, and drives process standardization, improvement, and automation. What You Own Daily Operations: Lead and work alongside the Order Operations Specialists to ensure consistent daily execution, adherence to standards and timelines, and accurate application of policies and processes. Escalation Management: Own the resolution of complex issues involving orders, VIN matching, pricing, vehicle configuration, invoicing, payments, refunds, and delivery readiness. Proactively identify and escalate critical operational risks and capacity constraints. Orderbook & Delivery: Safeguard orderbook accuracy and delivery readiness by validating vehicle availability, VIN-to-order matching, readiness checks, delivery milestones, and blockers through close coordination with Delivery, Service, and Logistics. Performance Management: Define, monitor, and own KPIs, operational reports, and dashboards that provide clear visibility into order-to-delivery progress, risks, and required actions. Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, including user acceptance testing for system changes. Team Development: Coach and develop team members through structured feedback, knowledge sharing, training materials, and standard operating procedures, fostering accountability and operational excellence. Workload Management: Monitor workload distribution, team capacity, and operational priorities to ensure resources are aligned with business needs and delivery commitments. Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Logistics, IT, Service, Production Control, Finance, Tax, and Accounting to resolve operational dependencies, support revenue recognition, and deliver business initiatives. What You Bring Required Qualifications & Skills At least five years of experience in order management, operations, supply chain, or a comparable operational field, including experience as a people manager or team lead. Proven experience coaching and developing operational teams while remaining hands-on in daily execution. Strong understanding of end-to-end order-to-delivery and order-to-cash processes. A proactive and structured approach to managing complex operational priorities, escalations, and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Business-level fluency in English, combined with professional proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, French, or Spanish. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience developing KPIs, operational dashboards, standard operating procedures, and training materials. A strong continuous improvement mindset, with demonstrated experience identifying and implementing operational efficiencies. Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP in an order management or operational environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in automotive order operations, vehicle delivery, vehicle allocation, logistics, or a comparable mobility environment is an advantage but is not required.
