Position Summary The Software Engineer builds and maintains the features, services, and APIs that power Onit's Contracts product line within its legal operations platform, spanning enterprise legal management, matter management, spend management, and contract lifecycle management. This engineering-focused role is built on solid Ruby on Rails skills and sound software engineering practices, writing clean, tested, production-grade code. Working under the guidance of Senior Software Engineers, and alongside product managers, designers, and QA, the Software Engineer delivers well-defined features and grows technical depth in Rails and full-stack development.
