To support the continued growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to complement our existing team of project management experts. You will be responsible for delivering a selection of complex, cross-functional IT projects in strategic cloud infrastructure, information security and application modernisation. In this capacity, you will work closely with the technical experts across product management, software development, operations, quality assurance, sales and customer service to deliver results on schedule, on budget and to the agreed quality standards. Specialist technical knowledge of cloud technologies is not a prerequisite for this position. Your focus is on leadership, alignment and delivery. Tasks Take full ownership of planning, managing and delivering complex projects, while securing commitment and clear accountability from all stakeholders involved Provide clear direction and structure in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements and shifting priorities Align cross-functional teams based on shared project objectives and maintain that focus throughout the project lifecycle Manage stakeholder relationships at all seniority levels, address objections constructively and develop viable solutions Prepare concise, decision-ready documents and status reports for senior management Ensure complete, current and accurate project documentation, including decisions, risks and progress Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of our project management methods, processes and standards Ensure a structured handover of project results to operations Qualifications and Core competences A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Practical experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, ideally in the information technology sector or software development Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (preferably Jira and Confluence). Knowledge of PRINCE2 or comparable project management frameworks, or a relevant certification, is an advantage A successfully completed degree or training with a focus on business administration, economics, engineering, IT, or a related field Hands-on execution: A strong hands-on approach, personal ownership of day-to-day delivery and a consistent focus on results Handling ambiguity: Ability to create clarity and structure when requirements are incomplete or priorities change, and to make sound decisions on that basis Team alignment: Ability to unite cross-functional teams behind a common objective and keep them aligned throughout the project Solution orientation: Consistent focus on developing and proposing options rather than escalating problems Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to address technical and executive audiences with equal clarity; business proficient German skills (B2) are mandatory Influence: Proven ability to lead without formal authority and to align stakeholders with differing interests Stakeholder resilience: Composure and confidence when stakeholders challenge priorities or decisions, and the ability to turn objections into workable agreements Efficiency through AI: Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to realise efficiencies in managing projects and ensuring documentation quality Benefits Hybrid working model.
