This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer – Python & Databricks based in Brazil. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and operate reliable backend services and production-grade REST APIs. In this remote role, you will work primarily with Python, FastAPI, and Microsoft Azure, contributing to scalable systems and data-driven products. You will help build and maintain a communications dispatch service that connects messaging queues, external APIs, databases, and data platforms such as Databricks. Working closely with development, data, and IT/DevOps teams, you will contribute to architecture, integrations, and deployment processes. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical solutions in a collaborative, learning-oriented environment focused on clean code, reliability, and continuous improvement.
