Registered Nurse Preop/PACU/OR

Location is in partnership with Compass Surgical Partners, an ASC Management organization. Role Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and OR patient care at NYC Joint and Spine. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. What You’ll Do Serve as circulating nurse, supporting patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff during procedures Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery Ensure patient safety and compliance with aseptic and surgical standards Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols Support patient education and post-op instructions What You’ll Bring Graduate of an accredited RN program Current NJ RN license (unencumbered) At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3–5 years) Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months) Preferred: Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Physical & Work Environment Requirements Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday) Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay with medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays Opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth Supportive, team-oriented work environment
