About the role
Our client, an established technology company providing cloud-based communications and related technology solutions to businesses and consumers, is seeking a Privacy and Regulatory Counsel to join its high performing legal team. This is a highly visible position with responsibility for a broad range of regulatory, privacy, consumer protection, and emerging technology matters, including artificial intelligence. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, this attorney will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and cross-functional teams, providing practical legal guidance on evolving regulatory requirements and helping the organization manage risk while supporting innovation and business growth. The role combines substantive responsibility for domestic and international privacy and regulatory matters with opportunities to advise on complex commercial transactions and broader corporate legal issues. This role can be remote. For those residing outside of the Bay Area, there is minimal travel required (4x/year to HQ). For those who live in the Bay Area, the company offers group office lunches on Tuesdays, so participation those days for team connection is strongly encouraged.
