IT Governance Manager

This role owns APCO's Technology Procurement and Contract Governance program, the framework every IT vendor contract passes through from request to execution, storage, enforcement, and renewal. APCO depends on its technology vendors for its success. We need to select the right vendors at the right price, monitor their performance, and hold them accountable through sound contracts and effective oversight. This person manages the governance workflow end to end. They coordinate business, architecture, security, and budget approvals, negotiate commercial terms, ensure business language and protections are in place, identify required ancillary agreements, and prepare agreements for Legal review. They are also expected to continuously improve the process itself by clarifying ownership, removing bottlenecks, and focusing effort on agreements that are ready to move forward.
