The Opportunity We’re looking for an HR Business Partner, or an experienced HR Advisor ready to step up into partnering, for a 12-month maternity cover at our operations hub in Leamington Spa. You’ll be the People partner on site for around 150 colleagues, from packing teams, forklift drivers and team leads to lab technicians, pharmacists and clinicians. You’ll work day to day with the site director, shift managers and our chief pharmacist. The site has grown fast, so there’s real opportunities across: supporting managers, delivering engagement initiatives, and putting simple, consistent people processes in place. What You'll Do Be the go-to People partner for the site, building trusted relationships with leaders, shift managers and team leads Coach managers and team leads through difficult conversations, setting expectations, giving feedback and handling performance with confidence Handle day-to-day employee relations pragmatically, guiding managers through absence, conduct and performance cases Build and formalise people processes where things are still informal, so they work for a busy, shift-based site Run the recurring people cycle on site, including performance reviews and pay reviews Lead practical initiatives that improve engagement, trust and retention Use people data to spot issues early and help leaders act on them Support teams through change with clarity, consistency and care What You'll Bring to HeliosX Solid hands-on HR experience in an operational environment, such as warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, retail, hospitality or frontline healthcare Either partnering experience, or advisor experience where you’ve worked closely with business partners, covered for them or owned your own client group Confidence coaching managers, not just advising them case by case A practical, down-to-earth style. You’re as comfortable on the warehouse floor with shift managers as you are in a leadership meeting Comfort with pace and ambiguity.
