Close Protection Specialist - Travel Team (Women Strongly Encouraged to Apply)

GDBA is looking to add talent to a specialized close protection team in Washington, DC. This team provides a full spectrum of executive protection coverage: domestic and international travel details, secure transportation, and providing close protection at public events. Members of this team must have the fitness to perform when it counts and the composure to adjust when conditions shift. They are comfortable in unfamiliar cities, with unpredictable schedules, and calm in high-stakes moments. First year earnings for this role start at a minimum of $100,000 based on a 40-hour work week. This position offers earnings potential of up to $120,000+ commensurate with experience, overtime opportunities, and more. This is a full-time hourly position with benefits, not a contract-based role. To be considered for this position, an applicant must be ready and able to travel up to 130 days per year. GDBA’s ideal applicant possesses and is comfortable with all the following: : Extensive real-world experience working in a close protection role with UHNW individuals or other types of recognizable public/government figures during domestic and international travel. This role requires a high level of comfort operating as a security driver in various locations and vehicle types, including experience with route planning. Experience independently conducting both physical and online advances, resulting in clear, well-written advance reports. Candidates should demonstrate a strong familiarity with navigating FBOs, hotels, and a wide range of public venues.
