Job Summary The Equipment and Materials Driver is responsible for safely transporting electrical materials to and from warehouse, suppliers, and job locations. Essential Job Responsibilities Safely perform and direct the loading and unloading of trucks Transport electrical materials in a safe, responsible manner Perform daily vehicle inspections and communicate any problems and standard maintenance with your vehicle Understand and complete the log book Submit monthly vehicle reports to fleet Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to various office and warehouse/yard projects Minimum Qualifications Required: Have at least six months experience driving/transporting materials Have experience pulling trailers Be at least 21 years of age with a High School diploma or GED Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record Preferred: Exercise independent judgment and be motivated to grow and develop professionally Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service skills Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
