Role Overview The Field Engineer’s primary role is to serve as a technical advisor and champion for CodeRabbit customers. In this function, you will play a crucial role in the customers’ pre-sales journey by partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to help customers appreciate the value of CodeRabbit. This is an exciting role for those who are technically curious and passionate about building AI-powered solutions for the SDLC. What you will do: Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical solutions Translate business objectives into technical requirements and solution designs. Drive compelling demos and impactful Proof of Values (PoVs) to effectively showcase the value of the CodeRabbit platform Help in responding to security questionnaires Habitually provide feedback and collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to address customer issues with a focus on improving the product experience Stay abreast with industry trends, and emerging technologies in AI-powered development tools and platforms Contribute towards improvement of internal tools and documentation of playbooks, guides and best practices Support transition from pre-sales to post-sales to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience Travel up to 30% for customer meetings, on-site PoVs, and company events What you will bring: 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with 2+ years in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment Experience working with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer needs simultaneously Strong experience with software development tools and platforms Comfortable working with commandline Knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
