Director, Assistant General Counsel - International Trade Compliance

Our partner is looking for a Director, Assistant General Counsel – International Trade Compliance based in the United States. The Director, Assistant General Counsel – International Trade Compliance will lead the development and continuous improvement of a global trade compliance program across a complex international manufacturing and supply chain environment. This senior legal leadership role covers sanctions, export controls, customs, tariffs, and other international trade regulations. The successful candidate will establish governance frameworks, strengthen risk controls, and ensure consistent compliance practices across global operations. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, they will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. The role also oversees investigations, regulatory engagement, audits, and strategic risk assessments.
