ABOUT THE ROLE The Bitcoin Mining Strategy Associate plays a critical role in driving the company's strategic growth initiatives. This position involves leading complex market analyses, spearheading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, supporting strategic investments and developing strategic partnerships. The principal collaborates closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and execute high-impact opportunities, perform detailed financial evaluations, and deliver strategic recommendations. ​ Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following: ​ Strategic Market Analysis: ​ Lead comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities. ​ Develop and present market analyses and strategic insights to senior leadership to inform business strategy. ​ Financial Evaluation and Modeling: ​ Create and manage sophisticated financial models to evaluate the financial implications of potential ASIC acquisitions, strategic investments, operating fleet optimizations and other business opportunities. ​ Conduct thorough due diligence on strategy, including financial analysis and risk assessment. ​ Strategic Initiatives: ​ Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, from initial screening to integration planning, and through implementation. ​ Prepare detailed investment memoranda, board presentations, and other documentation to support decision-making processes. ​ Recommend operating enhancements with a goal of profit maximization of operating ASIC mining fleet. ​ Deal Structuring and Negotiation: ​ Assist in structuring and negotiating deal terms, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes. ​ Manage relationships with external parties, including key partners, consultants, and legal counsel, to facilitate transaction processes. ​ Cross-Functional Collaboration: ​ Partner with internal teams, including finance, legal, operations, and corporate development, to ensure seamless execution and integration of strategic initiatives. ​ Act as a liaison between the ASIC Compute Strategy team and other departments to foster collaboration and alignment on strategic goals. ​ Performance Monitoring and Reporting: ​ Track and report on the performance of and strategic decisions for the operating ASIC Mining fleet, providing insights and recommendations for future opportunities. ​ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate progress and outcomes to senior <span data-sche
